We are very excited to launch this website. We hope to provide a valuable resource to our Members, as well as others who are interested in the plumbing and pipe fitting industry.

We at U.A. Local 221 reflect on our achievements since inception in 1900. We are proud of the remarkable work of members past and present who have dedicated themselves to the movement as staunch advocates for the interest of workers. Our Members demonstrate a high degree of quality craftsmanship necessary to construct the homes, schools, office buildings, institutional and industrial facilities necessary to the building and development of
Kingston and surrounding areas.

The United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry of the United States and Canada or "UA" as it is commonly known was a pioneer in 1900 and remains so today. As dictated by our charter the U.A. remains committed to represent all who toil in our Industry. Our mandate to raise the quality of life for our membership is demonstrated through our pension and health & welfare plans as well as fair, negotiated compensation in our wage package.

With a strong commitment to training programs and education we are ready to move forward into the future, maintaining the high standards required in today’s highly technical and changing workplace.

The UA prides itself on its Community involvement both politically and socially. Our approach has established a legacy that we can build on to ensure the future of our membership and the United Association.
